Traditionnellement, ce domaine de recherche a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9par\u00e9 des \u00e9tudes sur les soi-disant bons probl\u00e8mes. Pourtant, r\u00e9cemment, une vision communautaire microbienne de la pathogen\u00e8se a pris forme : une vision dans laquelle les mol\u00e9cules, les machines et les m\u00e9canismes qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverts en \u00e9tudiant l&#8217;infection bact\u00e9rienne sont maintenant appliqu\u00e9s pour comprendre l&#8217;interaction entre les agents pathog\u00e8nes, les microbes r\u00e9sidents et l&#8217;environnement h\u00f4te.
